Evolytix Corporation ("Evolytix," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Evolytix time tracking and project management application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Account information such as your name and email address when you register
• Time entries, project names, client names, and task descriptions you enter into the Service
• Team member information including names and email addresses when you add users to your organization

Information from QuickBooks

When you connect your QuickBooks Online account, we access and store the following data from Intuit's API on your behalf:

• Customer and client names and IDs
• Employee names and IDs
• Service item names and IDs
• OAuth access tokens used to authenticate API requests

We use this data solely to enable time entry synchronization between the Service and your QuickBooks account.

Usage data

We may collect information about how the Service is accessed and used, including your browser type, pages visited, and the time and date of your visit.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Sync time entries and project data with your QuickBooks account
• Manage your account and team members
• Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
• Send administrative communications such as service updates
• Monitor and analyze usage to improve the Service
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

We do not sell your personal information or QuickBooks data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. QuickBooks data

Our use and transfer of information received from Intuit APIs complies with the Intuit Developer terms. Specifically:

• We only request the minimum QuickBooks permissions necessary to operate the Service
• Your QuickBooks data is used only to provide the time tracking and sync features you have requested
• We do not share your QuickBooks data with any third parties except as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., our hosting provider)
• You may disconnect your QuickBooks account at any time from the Settings page

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of data in transit using TLS
• Encryption of data at rest
• Row-level security policies limiting data access to authorized users only
• OAuth 2.0 authentication for QuickBooks integration

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: We use third-party providers (Supabase for database hosting, Vercel for application hosting) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
• With your consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent

6. Your rights and choices

You have the following rights with respect to your data:

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: You may update or correct inaccurate information through the Service or by contacting us
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
• QuickBooks disconnection: You may disconnect your QuickBooks account at any time from the Settings page, which will stop future data syncing

8. Children's privacy
